Welcome to our web site
The Sacramento Area Modelers club features one of the premier flying sites on the West Coast, located at 11,000 Florin Road and has a paved access road, pit area and runway with adjacent grass strip provided for belly landings and gliders. We have covered setup areas with electricity to each table, A "clubhouse" (The Auger Inn), manicured lawns with shade trees, running water and restroom facilities, and a snack bar which is open during our scheduled events.

Special Thanks to the members Ash Creek Air Field in Anderson CA for inviting the SAM members to come up and join the 2013 Fly'n Ash Fast Warbird Race. Ash Creek Air Field held another successfull race and everyone had a great time. Lots of prizes, racing and pilots, if you missed it, this is an event you might want to look forward to attending next year. Congrats to the Winners.

Get More Involved with YOUR Club
We are looking for people to help out at the races. There are several different positions that you could have fun doing.
By helping, you will meet and have fun with lots of your fellow club members. Besides the races are very enjoyable, fun, and a great place to just hang out. You could be the next one to say that "I was part of the Sacramento Area Modelers Warbird Racing".
